ACCESSIBILITY AT SLUGFEST
Slugfest is committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can fully enjoy the show.
We strive to make all information available in multiple formats to accommodate diverse needs, so you can have a seamless and enjoyable experience. Please plan accordingly to navigate the terrain and distances involved.
Accessible Entry
Accessible Entry
While all entrances are accessible, we strongly encourage guests with disabilities or injuries to enter through the VIP or Express entrance as those are designed to accommodate various types of mobility accessories.
Accessible Parking
Accessible Parking
There is a limited amount of ADA parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. To access this parking, follow posted signage and let gate staff know you are using ADA parking.
Accessible Viewing
There will always be ADA accessible viewing spaces at Slugfest. These areas are for guests who use wheelchairs, have significant mobility disabilities, or have difficulty standing for long periods of time. ADA patrons may have no more than one companion in designated viewing areas.
Patrons with mobility impairments may request an accessibility wristband at Fan Services. This wristband identifies eligibility for ADA viewing access for the patron and one companion. The wristband is non-transferable.
Accessible Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are located next to all accessibility viewing platforms. All restroom areas include a number of accessible toilets.
Patrons with Mobility Impairments
Because Slugfest takes place in an outdoor environment, guests may encounter varied terrain including sandy or rocky pathways, uneven and unpaved roads, and grassy fields. Please be aware that the festival site is a large area, with some distances to cover between different zones and stages.
Slugfest is equipped with accessible facilities including ramps, viewing areas, restrooms, and clear signage. Our team is dedicated to providing spaces for individuals who may need a break from sensory stimulation.
Dietary Needs & Prescription Medication
Dietary needs and prescription medication
Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside Slugfest, but if a guest has special medical dietary restrictions, items will be reviewed and/or inspected by on-site Safety or EMS staff, and most likely allowed in.
Guests are allowed to bring medically necessary materials and prescription medications into the festival, provided all medicine has a prescription label with the guest’s name. Festival staff will verify contents of medically necessary materials. For safety, please dispose of medical waste and syringes in proper disposal located at the medical tent. Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins.
Please see the official festival map for the location of the medical tent.
Service animals
Pets are not allowed within Slugfest. However, dogs trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability are welcome. If accompanied by a service animal, you may be provided a Patron Notice of Responsibility for a Service Animal or can request the form in advance from accessibility@slugfest.com.
Can I bring a companion with me?
Companions are welcome at Slugfest, but all festival attendees must purchase a festival ticket to enter. ADA guests may bring one companion into designated accessible viewing spaces.
Feedback
We welcome and encourage any feedback and suggestions from attendees. Please email accessibility@slugfest.com. We will do our best to help you have an enjoyable experience.
