Human Behavior Study 027
The Collection Instinct
Humans often collect objects they do not need.
Cards.
Shoes.
Records.
Vintage clothing.
Small figurines with oversized heads.
When questioned, humans rarely explain the practical purpose of these objects.
Instead, they describe memories.
"This reminds me of being a kid."
"My grandfather had one."
"I've been looking for this for years."
This discovery has altered my understanding of Earth economics.
Humans do not assign value based solely on utility.
They assign value based on emotion.
Fascinating.
